TOK is seeking a talented Marketing Specialist who will lead the development of property marketing collateral (print and digital), craft marketing strategies and plans, and create client reporting materials for TOK’s property listings and client representation services. The Marketing Specialist assists Brokers in the acquisition of new listing opportunities through the creation of proposal materials and pitch deck presentations. The Marketing Specialist works under the guidance of a Sr. Marketing Specialist, and will be supported by a Marketing Assistant. The Marketing Specialist collaborates with the Marketing Assistant to assess project prioritization and offer detailed context for new projects. The Marketing Specialist is responsible for maintaining TOK’s brand integrity within existing property marketing materials and communications to ensure that all design elements are always appropriately on brand.

ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES NEEDED TO SUCCEED:

  • High School Diploma required. College degree is strongly preferred.
  • A minimum of 3 years of graphic design experience.
  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Acrobat.
  • Basic skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
  • Strong knowledge of commercial real estate terminology very helpful.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a very fast-paced environment, demonstrating the ability to successfully manage time and projects, effectively communicating with all team members, and staying organized.
  • Proven track record of success in both team-based efforts as well as independent work. The ability to successfully work in a team is imperative.

ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL ABILITIES REQUIRED:

  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position at least 50% of the time, occasionally move about the office to access necessary materials, and operate a computer and other office machinery.
  • Must be able to effectively communicate with clients and team members, as well as be able to interpret instructions and exchange accurate information.
  • Must have sufficient visual and mental perception, which allows the employee to comprehend written work requirements, and determine necessary actions required to meet the finished product standards.
  • Must be able to lift and carry objects up to 30 pounds and work in an office environment that may require walking, bending, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and sitting for long periods of time.

Responsibilities
  • Interface with Brokers on proposal packages and pitch presentations for new Brokerage opportunities.
  • Work directly with Brokers to create and modify property marketing collateral including flyers, offering memorandums and website landing pages, and email blast content.
  • Develop graphic design, and narrative/copy content positioning (headers, descriptions, summaries) for new listings.
  • Direct Marketing Assistant in coordinating and initiating email blasts to the local, regional, and national brokerage professionals as well as potential investors, tenants, or other audience targets.
  • Coordinate ordering new and updated property signage (as well as signage removals) as needed. Create custom property signage as the developer’s needs dictate.
  • Create marketing plans to suit Broker client requirements and comprehensively message TOK’s marketing deliverables. Identify advertising options and secure additional ad placements for maximum listing exposure for target audiences (local, regional, national).
  • Direct, analyze, and package client reporting deliverables collaborating with the Marketing Assistant to identify and track property marketing activities in Buildout software, Excel, or Marketing Plan reporting templates.
  • Attend any client meeting that Brokers request, including listing pitches, property marketing plan strategies, and client reporting discussions.
  • Work within the Marketing team to coordinate social media marketing efforts: LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Google My Business, and YouTube developing property marketing messaging, timing, delivery channels, and reporting (if required).
  • Guide the materials creation including invitations, posters, flyers, parking instructions, on-site signage, etc. with the Transaction Coordinator and Marketing Assistant to facilitate and manage open house events as needed.
