JOB DESCRIPTION:

We’re looking for a creative, strategic, and execution-focused Marketing Specialist who’s ready to help RentZoro define and amplify its brand. You’ll shape how we show up in the market, especially across digital and social platforms. This is an opportunity to join a high-growth startup and play a pivotal role in how Canadians discover and connect with our mission.
We’re seeking someone creative with an entrepreneurial mindset, and hands-on experience across content marketing, social media strategy, digital campaigns, influencer outreach, and brand positioning. Experience with freemium products, SaaS models, or tech/startups is a big plus.

REQUIREMENTS

  • 2–5 years of experience in marketing (agency, startup, or corporate).
  • Strong grasp of brand strategy, content marketing, and social media.
  • Experience in freemium/SaaS products or marketing to digital-first consumers is preferred.
  • Portfolio of past campaigns, content, or digital marketing work (personal or professional).
  • Comfortable with tools like Canva, Adobe Suite, Figma, Meta/LinkedIn Ads Manager, HubSpot, etc.
  • Excellent writing and storytelling skills.
  • Ability to thrive in fast-moving environments and take ownership of projects.
  • Strong eye for aesthetics, tone, and brand consistency.
  • Bonus: Experience working in housing, fintech, or proptech spaces.

Brand Strategy: Helping define RentZoro’s brand identity, tone, and messaging- and ensuring consistency across all channels.
Social Media Management: Owning our social media presence- from strategy to execution- across platforms like Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, and YouTube.
Campaigns: Conceptualizing and launching high-impact, data-driven marketing campaigns that increase awareness, conversions, and community growth.
Influencer & Creator Collaborations: Identifying and partnering with aligned creators and micro-influencers to expand our reach.
Digital Growth: Executing performance-based digital strategies (organic & paid) to drive traffic and user sign-ups.
Analytics & Reporting: Measuring what works, optimizing performance, and making decisions grounded in data.
Trendspotting: Staying on top of marketing, cultural, and real estate trends to keep our brand fresh and relevant.
