Responsibilities

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING…

The Marketing Specialist role is tasked with managing social media programs, but also supporting other areas of marketing including: copywriting, design, email, and overall content development. Taking strategic direction from our Content Strategist and Email Marketing Managers, the Marketing Specialist will build out social media calendars and manage social media platforms, partner with internal and external agencies to create social posts, build emails to support campaign initiatives, and support content requests by providing copywriting and/or design support.

RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE..

  • Building social media strategy to align with SEO, content and campaign strategies.
  • Managing social media programs. Working as admin of social platforms - responsible for posting and retiring content, pulling and analyzing performance reports, reporting on performance, and optimizing social programs to drive improved results.
  • Developing creative briefs for social media needs. Partnering with the project management team and agencies throughout the creative process, and acting as Subject Matter Expert (SME) to review content for accuracy, brand and legal compliance, and alignment to creative brief.
  • Providing copywriting and/or design support to creative requests
  • Developing a solid understanding of product portfolio, target audience, buyer’s journey, key pain points and sales process
