JOB SUMMARY

Our client is a fast growing business based on Pershore Industrial Estate. They are seeking a creative and detail-oriented and dynamic Marketing Specialist to join their growing team. This individual will assist in executing marketing campaigns, analysing performance data, managing e-commerce style platforms, and providing general administrative support to the owners of the business when required. The ideal candidate is skilled in Google Analytics, Shopify, Adobe and SEO and has a strong grasp of marketing principles. They should be able to multitask, work independently, and coordinate across various departments to achieve business objectives.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or related field (preferred but not required).

Experience:

  • Proven experience in a marketing support, administrative, or e-commerce role.
  • Experience working with Google Analytics (certification is a plus).
  • Hands-on experience with Shopify or similar e-commerce platforms.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficient in Google Analytics and data reporting.
  • Adobe packages, Photoshop, Illustrator.
  • Experience managing Shopify or other e-commerce platforms.
  • Familiarity with email marketing platforms (e.g., Mailchimp, Klaviyo).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) or Google Workspace.
  • Basic understanding of SEO, SEM, and social media marketing is a plus.

Soft Skills:

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Responsibilities
  1. Google Analytics:
  • Manage and monitor website traffic using Google Analytics.
  • Generate reports on key marketing metrics (traffic, conversions, bounce rate, etc.).
  • Track and report on the performance of digital marketing campaigns.
  • Identify trends, insights, and SEO optimisation opportunities from data.
  • Assist with setting up and maintaining Google Analytics tracking codes and goals
  1. Shopify Management:
  • Oversee the day-to-day management of the Shopify e-commerce style platform and being directed on what needs to be achieved.
  • Update product listings, descriptions, and ensure accurate inventory management.
  • Assist with setting up promotions, discount codes, and special offers.
  • Coordinate product launches and optimise the online shopping experience.
  • Troubleshoot Shopify-related issues and liaise with technical support if needed.
  1. Marketing Support:
  • Assist in the execution of digital marketing campaigns, including email marketing, social media, and content marketing.
  • Help with the creation of marketing collateral such as presentations, reports, and promotional materials.
  • Conduct research on industry trends, competitors, and potential marketing opportunities.
  • Coordinate with external vendors for marketing materials, events, and other activities.
  • Manage marketing databases, ensuring data accuracy and completeness.
  1. Administrative Support:
  • Provide general administrative support to the marketing team, including scheduling meetings, managing calendars, and preparing meeting notes.
  • Help with photo and video content where required.
  • Assist with managing budgets, processing invoices, and coordinating marketing expenses where required.
  • Maintain organised records of marketing activities, project timelines, and documentation.
  • Coordinate communication between marketing, sales, and other departments to ensure project alignment.
