iPEC Scope of Work Job Title: Marketing Technology Developer – 1099 Contract Position Department: Marketing Reports To: Director, Marketing Location: Remote – US Based Position Status: 1099 Contract Contract Rate: $40 per hour Hours: 20 to 30 hours per week, flexible based on project phase (may need more during initial phase) Core hours must overlap with EST business hours for weekly syncs. Contract Length: up to 6 months Who is iPEC? Institute for Professional Excellence in Coaching (iPEC)is a leading coaching certification organization that trains and certifies professional coaches worldwide. We're building the technical infrastructure to scale our marketing operations and connect our graduates with clients. Contract Summary We need someone who can audit our current tracking setup, identify what's working and what's not, build intelligent reporting systems, and develop tools that help our marketing and coaching teams succeed. This isn't a "follow the spec" role, you'll need to assess what we have, determine what we need and implement solutions without extensive oversight. Priorities: Audit & Optimize Foundation · Audit current conversion tracking across all paid campaigns (Google Ads, Meta, Pinterest, Etc.) · Assess data accuracy and attribution between platforms and HubSpot · Identify gaps, redundancies, or opportunities for improvement · Fix any issues discovered (or validate that setup is solid) · Document current tracking architecture and data flow · Recommend improvements to tracking strategy if needed Build Intelligence · Create HubSpot dashboards showing campaign performance, attribution, ROI · Set up automated reporting workflows · Implement or enhance lead scoring/quality metrics by source · Develop any custom reports needed for campaign optimization Develop Coach Directory · Develop MVP coach directory (searchable, filterable) · Integrate with HubSpot (pull coach data, credentials, ELI scores) · Create coach profile pages · Implement lead capture forms that feed back into HubSpot · Basic front-end functionality (clean, functional, user-friendly) Required Experience: · 2 to 4 years of applicable experience · Managed PPC campaigns for 2-3+ years (Google Ads, Meta, LinkedIn) · Audited marketing technology setups and identified gaps · Built things in HubSpot beyond basic workflows (APIs, custom properties, integrations) · Written JavaScript and SQL · Implemented or optimized GA4 and GTM setups Technical Experience Required: · HubSpot: Development experience (APIs, custom objects, workflows, reporting) · Analytics: GA4 implementation/optimization, GTM setup, conversion tracking · Coding: JavaScript for tracking customization, SQL for reporting, API integration experience · PPC platforms: Hands-on campaign management and understanding of platform tracking requirements · Problem-solving: Can assess systems, identify issues, and architect solutions Nice to have: · Python for automation · React or Vue for front-end work · Experience with coaching, education, or marketplace platforms · Agency background supporting multiple clients' martech stacks A Few More Details: · Diagnostic mindset: You'll start by assessing what we have, not assuming what's broken.
