Marketplace Operations Analyst
We are looking for an organised & adaptable Operations Analyst to join a fast-growing team in a high growth area of the business, Funding Circle Marketplace.
The Marketplace team specifically represents what we see as the future of how we can ‘build a better financial world’ for SMEs in the UK. We all want each other to succeed and it’s a really collaborative place to work as well as being a fun and inclusive culture. The Marketplace team helps small business owners secure funding by building partnerships with a broad panel of alternative lenders and utilising a range of lending products.

Responsibilities

As a Marketplace Operations Analyst you will support the Marketplace Sales teams to manage applications from initial submission to payout using a combination of software applications and lender portals. Showing a high level of accuracy to write, check and collate customer documentation. Your role will be central to ensuring we provide a smooth and swift service for our customers.

  • Gaining an in-depth knowledge of lender processes and requirements
  • Submitting applications via lender portals, collating and sending additional documentation as required
  • Ensuring that we package applications correctly for our lenders to help us deliver a fast and efficient service to our clients.
  • Working closely with the sales team to help them manage customers through slick administration
  • Managing applications passed to you by the sales teams ensuring swift processing and accuracy
  • Maintaining our own internal CRM and providing reporting to the team as required
  • Passing additional information requests from our lenders on to the sales team promptly
  • Raising lender documentation prior to sending to the client for signing
  • Proactively problem solving, identifying and confidently mitigating any risks, issues or control weaknesses that arise in your day-to-day
