Description
We are building a new agricultural inputs marketplace in partnership with Piraeus Bank, and we're looking for a hands-on Marketplace Operations Coordinator to be the backbone of our merchant relationships and day-to-day platform operations. You will be responsible for bringing merchant products to life on the platform, ensuring catalog accuracy, and resolving operational issues as they arise, from customer complaints to logistics hiccups. Responsibilities Catalog & Content Management Onboard merchant product catalogs by uploading SKUs, descriptions, pricing, and specifications to the marketplace Create and edit product content including descriptions, technical specifications, and usage guidelines Coordinate product photography sessions and ensure high-quality visual content for all listings Maintain catalog accuracy and update inventory availability in collaboration with merchants Operational Troubleshooting Serve as the first point of contact for operational issues including customer complaints, order discrepancies, and delivery delays Coordinate with logistics partners to track shipments and resolve transportation problems Manage stock-out situations by communicating with merchants and customers to find timely solutions Document recurring issues and propose process improvements to prevent future problems Merchant Support Build strong relationships with merchants to ensure smooth collaboration Train merchants on platform tools, order management, and best practices Monitor merchant performance and flag quality or reliability concerns Requirements 2-4 years of experience in e-commerce operations, marketplace management, catalog management, or customer support Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Excellent written and verbal communication in Greek (English is a plus) Comfortable with technology, experience with e-commerce platforms, CMS tools, or ERP systems preferred Basic photography skills or willingness to learn product photography Problem-solving mindset with the ability to stay calm under pressure Experience in agriculture, B2B commerce, or supply chain is a plus but not required What we offer The opportunity to build a new marketplace from the ground up A collaborative, fast-paced startup environment Competitive salary and benefits Room for growth as the marketplace scales
