Job Description: Seasonal Masa’s Grill Server
Job Purpose: To provide a warm, friendly, and efficient food and beverage service to our guests, ensuring exceptional service standards are delivered and always maintained in line with our guest expectations.
Reports to: Food and Beverage Manager.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent
  • Serving it Right Certificate
  • 1 year of experience serving in an a la carte restaurant
  • Basic knowledge of wines and spirits
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
  • Able to competently prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Cash handling skills
    The Harvest Golf Club is a multiple award-winning championship golf course located in Kelowna, British Columbia, the heart of BC wine country. The Harvest Golf Club is home to impeccably manicured grounds, vineyard, orchard, championship golf course, and food and beverage facilities and services.
    The Harvest Food and Beverage Department consists of a: Casual Dining Restaurant and Lounge, Banquet and Private party Catering, Beverage Cart, and Course Kiosk. This position commences immediately till October 31st with the possibility of year-round employment.

    Pay: From $17.85 per hour
    Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week

Responsibilities
  • Have complete knowledge of the Masa’s Grill food and beverage menus.
  • Provide table service from start to finish including taking food and beverage orders, delivering orders, and taking payment.
  • Enter food and beverage items into the POS system.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area throughout each shift.
  • Communicate effectively with co-workers to ensure customer satisfaction and a harmonious work environment.
  • Follow Health and Safety program and procedures.
  • Other related duties as assigned.
