KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: * Receiving /paying cash and cheques across the counter * Adhere to teller transaction & cash holding limits at all times. * Filing all cashier’s/reserve/main summaries. * Filing all cashier’s payments/receipts related correspondences directed to you * Receiving and recording cheque deposits * Correct errors highlighted in the daily cash report. * Calling & checking other tellers’ daily vouchers against daily report * Collect all revenue due to the bank. * Cross selling bank products and referrals as per allocated targets * Exercise due diligence as per the procedures’ manual * Provide excellent customer service at all times * Any other duties that may be assigned. ESSENTIAL SKILLS REQUIRED * A university degree in relevant business discipline, any professional Qualification in General Banking is an added advantage. * Strong people management skills and thorough knowledge of banking products and services, including wider understanding of the general consumer banking universe. * Strong communications, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate staff. * Strong communications, negotiations, and interpersonal skills. * Passion for Performance. * Self - Drive, Flexibility, Focus and attention to detail. * Open to New Ideas in a rapidly changing Business Environment
