Summary: Red Mile is launching an exciting new mascot position and is seeking a dynamic, high-energy, fun Mascot Performer to bring this character to life. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys engaging crowds, performing, and creating memorable experiences for guests. Essential Job Functions: · Perform as the Red Mile mascot at events and promotions · Interact with guests in a fun, family-friendly way · Ability to communicate emotion and personality without speaking · Energize crowds and support marketing efforts · Work with a designated handler for safety and coordination · Follow event schedules and direction Who We’re Looking For: · Outgoing, expressive, and engaging personality · Comfortable performing in front of crowds · Energetic and fun to be around for all ages · Creative and able to stay in character · Reliable, punctual and team-oriented · Able and willing to work cooperatively with other team members · Must be available to work flexible shifts, including but not limited to nights, weekends, and holidays Requirements Preferred Background or Qualifications: · Experience in theatre, dance, cheer, or performance · Experience working with children or events · Mascot or costume experience is a plus Physical Requirements: · Height requirements: 5’6” – 5’10” · Ability to wear a mascot costume for extended periods with breaks · Ability to perform in a warmer environment · Ability to move (walk, dance, gesture and interact) energetically in full body costume · Comfortability working with limited visibility and restricted movement while in costume Additional Details: · Flexible availability, schedules will vary depending on event · Auditions may be required · Pay based on experience and qualifications How to Apply: · Submit a brief introduction and any relevant experience to chris.rivera@redmile.biz · Optional but preferred: include a short introductory video showcasing your fun personality and movement.
