Job Description

YOUR EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS INCLUDE:

  • Minimum 2-3 years of previous experience in hotel industry is preferred
  • Diploma or certification / valid licences in Massage Therapy from a recognized institution
  • Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks associated with massage therapy
  • Flexibility to work varying shifts
  • Proficient in using spa management software and point-of-sale systems
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with industry trends

VISA REQUIREMENTS:

Please note that you must be eligible to live and work in Dubai. Swissotel Al Ghurair & Swissotel Living Al Ghurair will cover visa costs and flights for selected candidates from place of origin.

Responsibilities
  • Communicate effectively with the entire spa team and address queries in a professional and efficient manner.
  • Perform massage sessions to members and Guests in accordance with the massage schedule
  • Assist if required with contact and correspondence to Guests
  • Prepare for and execute of spa services to all Guests
  • Conduct body and treatment evaluation / reassessments for members and Guests on a regular basis with regards to the standards required
  • Participate in promotional events and spa demonstrations
  • Ensure spa operation follows SOP guidelines and regulations
  • Handle customer complaints and therapy queries
  • Provide usage reports on therapy services and ensure therapy room cleanliness at all times
  • Control the stock and inventory for therapy products and spa consumables
  • Operate in a safe and environmentally friendly way to protect guests’ and employees’ health and safety, as well as protect and conserve the environment
  • Comply with the hotel environmental, health and safety policies and procedures
  • Promote all services that are offered within the Spa and Sports
  • Oversee all reservations, payment and tracking procedures, established for the spa and sports facilities as required
  • Post charges in micros that may incurred by Guests and members and carry out correct accounting procedures
