Job Opportunity: sports/ Deep tissue/ Holistic Massage Therapist
Join our dynamic team at our Newport-based Chiropractic Clinic! We are seeking an experienced Massage Therapist.
We are looking for someone that is primarily a deep tissue, sports therapist but also has qualifications in holistic therapies like aromatherapy, hot stone massage, reflexology or indian head massage. The position will be 80% sports/deep tissue massage so this is a key requirement of the position, alternative therapies are a bonus.
Position Details:
- Shifts Required:
Mondays and Tuesdays, 2:00 PM - 7:10 PM,
Alternate Fridays 12-7.10pm
- Employment Type:
Self-employed within a busy medical chiropractic clinic.
Qualifications:
- Minimum Level 4 qualification in sports massage therapy.
- At least 2 years of experience in sports and deep tissue massage
- Proficiency in Swedish massage is preferred
-Aromatherapy, Reflexology, Indian Head massage and Hot stone qualifications are a bonus.
- Ability to work professionally in a clinical environment with a diverse patient population, including those with complex medical needs
Responsibilities:
- Provide hands-on massage therapy to patients with various needs, from specific injuries to general maintenance
- Maintain a clean and safe treatment environment, including cleaning the room between appointments and at the end of each shift
- Collaborate with chiropractors, as diagnosis and rehabilitation will be handled by them
- Hold your own professional insurance; membership in professional associations can be discussed during the interview

- Competitive pay: £21 per one-hour session and £15 per 40-minute session, with monthly payments via BACS
- All necessary equipment, PPE, marketing, bookings, and administrative support provided by the clinic
