JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Massage Therapist to join our wellness team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional therapeutic massage services to clients, helping them achieve relaxation, pain relief, and overall well-being. This role requires a strong understanding of medical terminology and the ability to communicate effectively with clients to assess their needs and preferences.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Valid state license or certification in massage therapy.
• Proficiency in medical terminology related to anatomy and physiology.
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and understand their needs.
• Excellent customer service skills with a focus on building rapport with clients.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings or weekends as required.
• Previous experience in a spa or wellness center is preferred but not mandatory.

• Perform a variety of massage techniques tailored to individual client needs, including Swedish, deep tissue, sports, and therapeutic massages.
• Conduct thorough client assessments to understand their health history and specific areas of concern.
• Maintain a clean and organized treatment area, ensuring all equipment is sanitized and ready for use.
• Educate clients on the benefits of massage therapy and recommend follow-up treatments as needed.
• Provide excellent customer service by creating a welcoming environment and addressing any client inquiries or concerns.
• Keep accurate records of client treatments and progress while adhering to confidentiality standards.
• Stay updated on industry trends and techniques to continuously enhance skills and service offerings.
