JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Massage Therapist to join our wellness team. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of anatomy and be dedicated to providing exceptional therapeutic services to our clients. This role involves assessing client needs, creating tailored treatment plans, and delivering high-quality massage therapies to promote relaxation, pain relief, and overall well-being.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Valid certification or licensure in massage therapy from an accredited institution.
• Strong knowledge of human anatomy and physiology.
• Excellent communication skills with a friendly and professional demeanour.
• Ability to create a calming atmosphere for clients during treatments.
• Previous experience in a therapeutic setting is preferred but not essential for motivated candidates willing to learn.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and training in the field of massage therapy.

• Conduct thorough assessments of clients’ physical conditions and discuss their specific needs and preferences.
• Develop personalised treatment plans based on individual client assessments.
• Perform various massage techniques, including Swedish, deep tissue, sports massage, and other modalities as required.
• Maintain a clean and organised treatment environment, ensuring all equipment is properly sanitised.
• Keep accurate records of client treatments and progress while adhering to confidentiality standards.
• Educate clients on the benefits of massage therapy and provide self-care recommendations.
• Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in massage techniques and practices.
