Job DetailsJob Location: ROUND HILL COUNTRY CLUB - Alamo, CA 94507Position Type: Part TimeSalary Range: $30.00 - $50.00 HourlyJob Shift: AnyESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING AND OTHER DUTIES MAY BE ASSIGNED: Knowledgeable in the following massage techniques: Deep Tissue, Swedish, Trigger Point. Knowledgeable in body movement (kinesiology) and the muscles used in golf, and Tennis. Excellent communication skills: An ability to communicate comfortably with clients about current symptoms (pain and tension), relevant medical history, and desired results. Able to choose what massage therapy technique the client needs and explain how that technique will help them. Manage massage bookings / schedule. Complete payroll information to record/report commissions. Complete billing information (via chits) for Member billing. Massage schedule may change to accommodate member requests. Enforce all Club policies. Project a positive professional image and promote enthusiasm and friendliness among all RHCC staff. Other duties as assigned. QualificationsQUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: CAMTC certification- from a CAMTC approved Massage therapy school in California with a program length of 500 hours or more. A minimum of 100 of the 500 hours must be in anatomy and physiology, contraindications, health and hygiene, and business and ethics. Certification must be renewed every 2 years. 2 years’ work experience (above schooling hours) as a Massage Therapist. Strong organizational skills Professional presentation, good verbal and written skills. CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: Current CAMTC certification as a Massage Therapist Adult CPR certification. OTHER SKILLS and ABILITIES: Exceptional customer service skills. Actively participate in continuing education programs, seminars and conferences that relate to the Massage Therapy / Health and Wellness Industry. Stay up to date on industry developments and trends in the massage therapy profession.
Responsibilities
Provide specialized massage therapy treatments tailored to client needs, specifically focusing on golf and tennis-related muscle recovery. Manage administrative tasks including bookings, payroll reporting, and member billing.
