The technicians we are looking for must seek solutions to tough problems with a strong passion for doing what’s right for our guests. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Technicians use their knowledge & skills to diagnose and fix vehicles for our guest Continuously build experience as an automotive mechanic across a wide range of domestic and foreign vehicles Complete full, accurate, and honest courtesy vehicle inspections Honestly assess vehicles and document detailed recommendations of necessary repairs and manufacturer's maintenance recommendations Maintain professionalism while addressing all customer concerns Review TSB's and other service recommendations and translate them to the customer's needs Politely and professionally communicate cause and correction for our guest concerns regarding their vehicle Complete wheel and tire replacements as needed Follow and promote our high standards of safety, cleanliness, and organization Responsible for keeping the branded repair vehicle clean and presentable at all times Master MFG-level diagnostic tools (MFG scan tools and subscriptions are provided by CBA) Qualifications Qualifications: Positive attitude and a desire to serve our guest 5+ years of experience as an automotive technician/mechanic ASE Certifications preferred, or a plan to achieve Capable of diagnosing and repairing all makes/models of vehicles Meet or exceed hourly goals Must have sufficient knowledge of traffic laws, understand them and follow them Aptitude for learning additional skills and processes Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record Professional appearance and strong communication A desire for long-term career development Physical Requirements: Occasionally lift and/or move over 100 pounds Be able to work with tools on vehicles lifted above their head Work in tight spaces as dictated by the vehicle’s needed repair Have the needed dexterity in order to efficiently use hand tools Walk/stand for the majority of their workday Drive manual transmissions vehicles Efficiently navigate a computer Additional Information Christian Brothers Automotive (CBA) began in 1982 with the simple premise of providing precision auto repair with transparency, integrity and a philosophy of people first.
