Description Red Pulley Technology Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Master Black Belt (MBB) to support the Bureau of Medicine and Surgery (BUMED) Improvement Sciences Directorate. This role supports Navy Medicine’s mission to improve operational readiness through standardized process improvement, project execution, and data-driven decision-making across geographically distributed commands. The Master Black Belt will lead enterprise-level Continuous Process Improvement initiatives, mentor practitioners, and ensure consistent application of Lean Six Sigma methodologies across commands with varying levels of Improvement Sciences maturity. This position follows a hybrid delivery model with approximately 60 percent onsite support at the Bureau of Medicine and Surgery (BUMED), Falls Church, VA, and 40 percent remote support from a contractor location. Location: Falls Church, VA (Hybrid) Clearance: Active Secret (Preferred) Employment Type: Full-Time Status: Contingent Upon Contract Award Requirements Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or related field Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in process improvement, CPI, or Lean Six Sigma Demonstrated experience applying Lean Six Sigma within healthcare environments Certified Master Black Belt (MBB) with evidence of continuous practice since certification Experience across all elements of the ASQ Master Black Belt Body of Knowledge (BOK) or equivalent framework (e.g., NCQA) Demonstrated ability to apply Lean Six Sigma in complex, multi-site environments Active DoD Secret Clearance Preferred Qualifications: Experience supporting DHA, BUMED, or military healthcare programs Experience mentoring and certifying Black Belts and Green Belts Familiarity with GRGB or Continuous Process Improvement frameworks Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar data visualization tools Experience supporting SharePoint or knowledge management platforms Key Responsibilities Lead Lean Six Sigma initiatives using DMAIC across multiple Navy Medicine commands Mentor and guide Black Belts and Green Belts to ensure consistent methodology applications Standardize CPI and Lean Six Sigma practices aligned with GRGB guidance Conduct process mapping, root cause analysis, and workflow redesign Develop and monitor KPIs, dashboards, and performance metrics Facilitate training sessions, workshops, and improvement events Support sustainment through control plans and governance frameworks Collaborate with leadership to prioritize and execute improvement initiatives Contribute to knowledge management systems including SharePoint Travel: Approximately 15 percent is required to support project execution, training, site assessments, and initiative implementation.
