About the role The Master Data Analyst enables the interactions between Supply Chain, Systems, NPD, Regulatory, eCommerce and suppliers by ensuring consistent data management for product, financial and inventory information. You will play a key role in the creation and management of data that facilitates a range of processes supporting our data customers both inside and outside the business. As a Master Data Analyst you will Create and maintain all aspects of product master data (including Retail SKUs, Samples, packaging, bills of materials) in our ERP and other systems through the full product lifecycle Service our internal and external customers in their data requests using a range of information and tools available Communicate clearly and timely all material master related updates to the relevant departments Complete Service Desk request within agreed SLA Perform Root Cause Analysis on issues raised and work to resolve, prevent and design those issues out of our processes Establish and perform exception checks to ensure our data quality Assist with the sourcing of information from suppliers and other data owners and develop process to ensure the timely provision and accuracy of this data Work closely with NPD and packaging teams on the product creation process Facilitate the downstream flow of product data to other teams and systems, understanding the impact of changes in master data on these downstream processes Adhere closely to defined rules relating to product creation and maintenance. Where necessary propose and enact new rules to improve the governance and quality of our data Create ad hoc reports Provide training and support to users regarding master data management practices Document and maintain operational procedures and processes Inform internal and external users about data changes, updates About you University degree is desirable. Ability to work with large data sets. A good understanding of systems and experience using ERP systems in a data or planning function. The ability to identify patterns and use this to drive improvements in data quality. Accuracy and attention to detail. Ability to work in a team and a collaborative environment. A strong communicator who is comfortable collaborating with functions across the business. Ability to thrive in a changing environment as we implement our new master data strategy.
