The Master Data Analyst supports the corporate finance team by managing new customer credit onboarding and maintaining accurate, consistent master data across multiple business entities. This role plays a critical part in both credit risk evaluation and data integrity by processing credit applications, validating customer documentation, and ensuring timely setup of new accounts in the ERP system. Additionally, the position assists with data-driven projects including customer file audits, data scrubbing, system imports, and ongoing maintenance. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, collaborative, and capable of balancing credit compliance with operational efficiency in a fast-paced, multi-division environment. This position reports to the Director of Credit & Collections.

Essential Functions

  • Enter, update, and maintain customer master data records in the ERP system, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and compliance with
  • corporate standards.
  • Coordinate with internal teams (Sales, Credit, Billing, Operations) to validate and approve requests for new or modified customer
  • records.
  • Ensure appropriate documentation is retained for changes to customer accounts (W-9s, certificates, tax documents, etc.).
  • Support the implementation of data governance practices and assist with master data enhancements.
  • Participate in corporate or cross-functional projects requiring mass data scrubbing, formatting, and validation.
  • Compare and reconcile data across multiple systems or sources to identify discrepancies or outdated information.
  • Perform uploads of validated customer data sets into ERP systems, following internal control and approval processes.
  • Create and maintain documentation for data upload procedures, mapping, and audit trails.
  • Partner with IT, Finance, and Operational teams to test, troubleshoot, and implement system updates or migrations affecting
  • customer master data.
  • Support post-project audits to ensure data integrity is sustained after implementation.
  • Assist in processing new customer account applications, including collecting required forms, verifying business information, and
  • initiating credit review packets.
  • Input and update credit limits and terms in the system under direction.
  • Coordinate communication between Sales, Credit, and Accounting to ensure timely setup, approval, and mapping of new accounts.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience in managing data or financial analysis.
  • Experience with Credit Administration and Accounts Receivable is a plus.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, D365, JD Edwards, NetSuite)

Knowledge & Skills

  • Expertise in Microsoft Office applications, with advanced skills in Excel.
  • Hands-on experience using Alteryx for data transformation, automation, or reporting tasks.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a strong commitment to data accuracy and integrity.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including collaboration, conflict resolution, and negotiation.
  • Outstanding organizational, time management, and follow-up abilities.
  • Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume, and cross-functional environment.
  • Solid analytical, mathematical, and foundational accounting skills.
  • Experience supporting or contributing to transformative initiatives involving systems, processes, or technology improvements.
  • Prior experience working across multiple ERP systems is required; familiarity with Comsense is highly desirable.
