Master Data Specialist
As a Master Data Specialist at ferm LIVING, you will play a central role in
managing and maintaining the integrity of our master data across the entire
value chain. Your work will be crucial in driving operational excellence,
ensuring the consistency and efficiency of data processes that support both
day-to-day operations and long-term strategic growth.
About ferm LIVING
We are a Danish design and interior brand established in 2006. From our base in Copenhagen,
we work with artisans around the world, fusing our Scandinavian mindset and design with
global skills and traditions. We create two yearly collections of furniture, accessories
and lighting - for all rooms in the home.
About the role
Our new Master Data Specialist will report directly to the Head of Operations, overseeing master data from suppliers
to end-users and leading the implementation of our new PIM system. You’ll focus on optimizing workflows, fostering
cross-functional collaboration, and driving best practices for data governance and compliance. This role offers

significant visibility and the opportunity to play a key part in our digital transformation and data-driven initiatives.

• Manage master data across the value chain, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
• Lead and optimize the implementation of the Product Information Management (PIM) system.
• Develop standardized procedures for data collection, validation, and maintenance.
• Collaborate with internal teams to improve data accuracy and streamline data flow.
• Resolve data discrepancies and implement automated solutions for better data quality.
• Ensure compliance with data governance policies and industry best practices.

What we’re looking for

We’re seeking a detail-oriented Master Data Specialist passionate about data governance and digital transformation.

• 3-5 years in master data management, PIM, or data governance roles
• Expertise in data quality, database structures, and best practices
• Experience with PIM systems (e.g., Akeneo, inRiver) and ERP systems (e.g., SAP)
• Proficiency in Excel, SQL, and BI tools (e.g., Power BI)
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Experience in process optimization and automation
• Knowledge of GDPR compliance and data governance frameworks
