Qualifications JOB SUMMARY: The Master Electrician is a highly experienced member of the assembly team. They are true utility workers with the ability to perform at a high level anywhere on the line and also support the training and development of other line employees. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES : · Play an active role in promoting positive employee relations and engagement · Actively support and participate in a culture of safety and continuous improvement within assigned facilities · Interpret and execute designs from blueprints and specifications, knowing how to read and understand the drawings and ladder logic · Layout all wire harnesses to current run location · Use pinners to be able to set and create wire · Wire all helms correctly with jumpers · Build any helm within tact time · Rework electrical components to be able to keep production moving if potential supplier issue · Engine installation as needed · Work through hole/installation issues to help provide commonization throughout models · Conduct quality checks to ensure the boat’s seaworthiness and adherence to safety standards · Check, troubleshoot, and fix all electrical issues and also have the ability to create ways to test electrical components · Communicate all issues or opportunities with Electrical Engineering · Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment · Train, coach, and mentor other team members to enhance their skills and knowledge · Collaborate with Supervisors, Group Leaders, and functional support to achieve daily work targets · Adapt to changes in responsibility, processes, procedures, or work schedules as needed SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE · Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail · Ability to work independently and as part of a team · Extensive experience with complex system assembly, inspection, and troubleshooting · Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and machinery · Ability to read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and schematics · Strong understanding of boat design and construction techniques · Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally at all levels of the organization. · Physical ability to stand, walk, crouch, bend, and climb throughout the workday in a non-air-conditioned environment · Willingness to achieve engine certifications through company-sponsored training with engine OEMs PPE REQUIREMENTS · Safety Glasses · Safety Shoes NOTE: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
