Job Summary: We are seeking a dual-skilled Master Electrician / HVAC Technician who can handle both electrical work and HVAC service tasks, including both service and start up of newly installed residential units. In this role, you’ll install, maintain and repair HVAC systems, as well as perform electrical service for residential and light commercial clients. The ideal candidate is highly skilled, customer-focused and capable of working independently and as part of a team.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Certified Master Electrician with the ability to pull permits in Alberta
  • Journeyman HVAC Technician certification or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in both electrical and HVAC work
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC systems and electrical systems
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

Responsibilities
  • HVAC Service: diagnose, repair and maintain heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems. Perform routine maintenance to ensure system efficiency and longevity. Install new HVAC systems including furnaces and air conditioners. Provide expert recommendations to clients on system upgrades and repairs.
  • Electrical Work: perform electrical diagnostics, troubleshooting and repairs. Install and upgrade electrical components including panels, wiring and fixtures. Ensure all electrical work complies with applicable codes and standards. Collaborate with HVAC and other trades to provide integrated solutions.
  • General: deliver exceptional customer service. Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used. Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies. Provide mentorship to apprentices or junior team members, as needed.
