JOB OVERVIEW

The Master Electrician at Tuscany Suites and Casino will be responsible for ensuring the proper installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems throughout the property. This individual will oversee a team of electricians and work closely with other departments to ensure safety and compliance with all electrical regulations.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Valid Master Electrician license in the state of Nevada
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical work
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
  • Working conditions include office or outdoors and inclement in weather conditions, extreme heat/cold, work in confined spaces, work at heights up to 50 feet, work around loud noise and second hand smoke
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, reach for long periods of time

Responsibilities
  • Manage a team of electricians and delegate tasks accordingly
  • Perform routine maintenance on electrical systems
  • Foster a culture of safety and compliance within the electrical department
  • Coordinate with other departments to complete electrical projects efficiently
  • Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial environments
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams
  • Ensure all work is performed to code
  • Perform conduit bending, panel installations, lighting systems, switchgear, and service upgrades
  • Troubleshoot systems and identify solutions quickly and effectively
  • Complete job documentation accurately and on time
  • Mentor and support apprentices as needed
  • Follow safety protocols and report any hazards
  • Keep adequate inventory of electrical supplies and submit purchase orders as needed.
  • Collaborate with Clark County Fire Department and Building Department for system testing.
  • Ensure clean, safe work areas and proper use of PPE at all times.
  • Step in to support other facilities projects as assigned by management.
