MASTER PLUMBER

Parker-Arntz Plumbing & Heating, Inc. is in search of a Master Plumber that can run new construction & renovation projects. Our Corporate offices are located in Greenville, MI but we have team members that live all over Michigan. We have projects going throughout Michigan & Ohio. Qualified individuals must have a minimum (5) years of experience, be highly organized, self-starters, highly motivated and be able work 50+ hours per week. Applicants must have experience in commercial & multi-family housing (new & remodel)

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 5-7 years of demonstrated Plumbing installation experience
  • Master Plumber License
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Demonstrated knowledge of proper and safe use of tools and related equipment
  • Passion and drive to explain, present, and honestly provide options to customers
  • Ability to work and communicate effectively individually as well as in a team environment
  • Ability to participate for permit inspections when necessary
  • Solid knowledge of all aspects of plumbing repair including leak location, tankless water heaters, water filtration, tank type water heaters, all types of plumbing fixtures, drain cleaning, and drain line replacement
  • Ability to clear a motor vehicle report and pre-employment drug screen
  • Ability to work in Detroit, MI

Responsibilities
  • Perform necessary tasks on all phases of plumbing by relying on experience and knowledge
  • Install, modify, inspect, repair, and maintain plumbing fixtures in water, gas, and drainage systems according to specifications and building codes
  • Troubleshoot service issues
  • Makes decisions on all normal & complex repairs and reports major problems to/consults with management as appropriate
  • Make decisions on site, without disruption to clients and job quality
