Piper Companies is looking for a Master Network Specialist to join DoD consulting company. This position is onsite in APG (Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD).

Essential Duties of the Master Network Specialist:

  • Will support the High Performance Computing Modernization Program (HPCMP) Integrated Technical Services-Restricted (HITS-R) contract.
  • Performs a variety of systems engineering tasks and activities that are broad in nature and are concerned with major systems design, integration, and implementation, including personnel, hardware, software, budgetary, and support facilities and/or equipment.
  • Develops integrated system test requirement, strategies, devices and systems. Directs overall system level testing.
  • Research, design, develop, and test operating systems-level software, compilers, and network distribution software.

Qualifications of the Master Network Specialist:

  • Bachelors degree and 6 years of experience, Associates degree and 8 years of experience, or 10 years of experience without a degree
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain an active Secret or Top Secret clearance.
  • Experience with IPv4 or IPv6 protocol is required along with level 3 network protocols.
  • Experience with administration of LAN/WAN.
  • Experience with networking equipment such as routers and switches.
  • Must have Security+ certification.

    Compensation for the Master Network Specialist:

  • $140,000 - $175,000 (based on experience)
