  Job Description For: MASTER OPERATOR  Division/Department: Production  Location: Grandview, WA Job Title: Master Operator /Trainee Reports To: Production Manager  * Salary/Wage- Refer to Job Classification Wage Detail * Type of Position: Full-Time * Hours: 40+/week: Hourly * Competitive benefit package * Annual wage review based on individual performance.  * Company sponsored bonus package dependent upon individual & company performance.  GENERAL DESCRIPTION  The Master Operator Trainer will be required to train on all food processing equipment in a safe and efficient manner. This position will require versatility in learning how to operate multiple pieces of equipment and to be able to effectively cross train others how to operate the machinery in a safe and efficient manner. The master operator trainer will produce food products meeting all federal, state and customer requirements, regulations, and specifications. Follows established company policies and procedures.  KEY RESPONSIBILITIES  * Ability to safely train peers  * Displays a positive attitude in a team environment. * Ability to follow written and verbal instruction * Ability to maximize equipment operation * Ability to understand process flows * Good teaching abilities  * Good communication skills * Ability to document activities on operator forms * Strong knowledge of sanitation, CIP and COP procedures * Ability to work safely around equipment * Follow company policies and procedures * Initiative to learn and cross train on other equipment WORK EXPERIENCE & PERSONAL SKILL REQUIREMENTS * Experience in the ingredient, beverage or food processing industry * Equipment operating experience * Good reading, writing and verbal skills * Strong teamwork skills * Strong mechanical aptitude * Forklift operating skills * Ability to be flexible and improvise work assignments when needed * Must be available to work rotating shifts. * Must be able to work different shift changes wherever coverage is needed.  * Willingness to fill-in for other operators in the event of a pre-arranged/non-pre-arranged absence  * Efficiently navigates databases, cloud platforms, and internal systems to complete tasks. * Maintains accuracy and attention to detail when working with digital files, data entry, and online systems. * Adapts to new tech processes and tools to improve efficiency and productivity EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS  * High School Diploma and/or equivalent or higher.   Equal Opportunity Employer.
