POSITION SUMMARY:

The Master Planner is responsible for developing and maintaining detailed production schedules to meet customer demand, optimizing efficiency across several production lines. This role serves as a key liaison between purchasing, manufacturing, and customer service, driving on-time delivery and lean manufacturing goals.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 3–7 years of experience in a high-volume production scheduling role.
  • Strong knowledge of ERP systems (SAP required).
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office tools.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, or related field.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Supply chain certification (APICS, CPIM, etc.).
  • Lean or Six Sigma (Green Belt) certification.
  • Experience in multi-line production and high-complexity manufacturing environments.

Responsibilities
  • Analyze and adjust production plans based on forecasts, supplier delivery schedules, and capacity.
  • Create and manage time-phased build schedules across multiple production lines.
  • Collaborate with customer service and demand planners to interpret forecasts and drive scheduling accuracy.
  • Coordinate material flow with warehouse and procurement teams to support changeovers and maximize uptime.
  • Monitor and report on key production planning metrics, including forecast accuracy and output control.
  • Provide operational input for sales & operations planning (S&OP) and financial planning.
  • Manage capacity planning and load balancing across lines.
  • Issue purchase orders and maintain company supply levels as needed.
