We are looking for an experienced professional in logistics and supply chain management to join our team at Van den Bosch DMCC. As a leading ISO tanker operator based in Jumeirah Lakes Towers (JLT), Dubai, we specialize in the global transportation of liquid products. We constantly strive to provide innovative and efficient solutions for our customers.
As a master planner, you will be responsible for creating and solving daily logistics puzzles using various modes of transport, such as road, water and rail. Alongside your fellow master planners, you oversee the entire container fleet. You ensure optimal planning results by monitoring revenues and costs per trip, while taking the monthly return on investment into account. Based on costs, lead times, reliability, and other specifications, you determine the deployment and routing of containers. You collaborate with other departments within your division and provide guidance to your colleagues on the planning, enabling them to engage with the various parties and execute the plan. To thrive in this role, you must derive energy from optimising the planning process.
We are seeking an independent professional with strong analytical skills and extensive experience in logistics or supply chain. You are not someone who simply agrees with everything; you stand your ground and know how to tackle logistics challenges better than anyone else. Proactivity, a solution-oriented mindset, and a hands-on mentality are essential for success in this role.
