Job Description Job description: The Master-planning Senior Engineer shall oversee the review, validation, and approval of the Masterplan and its components. This includes ensuring alignment with the program's strategic objectives, regulatory requirements, sustainability goals, and technical standards, Responsibilities include: · Coordinating the review and approval process with relevant stakeholders, including regulatory authorities. · Ensuring that all master plan components are approved and aligned with company goals and regulations before proceeding with further design work. · Ensuring the integration of environmental, social, and technical considerations in the master plan. · Coordinate the tenant and core tenant design submissions with the Master Plan to ensure alignment. · Ensuring that core tenant designs do not conflict with the approved master plan. · Reviewing and approving core tenant design proposals in coordination with other Design Consultants. · Ensuring all core tenant designs are compliant with applicable codes, regulations, and technical requirements. Qualifications Qualifications: · Bachelor’s degree in urban planning. Master’s degree is preferred. · Minimum of 12 years of experience in master planning or urban design. · Minimum of 5 years of experience in GCC (Saudi Arabia, Emirates and the same). · Minimum 5 years of experience working on similar/comparable projects in terms of Scale, Particularities, and/or Complexities. · Strong understanding of land use regulations and zoning laws. · Develop comprehensive master plans for large-scale urban projects. · Strong skills in mobility and infrastructure requirements, in respect to masterplan design. · Ensure projects enhance community engagement and environmental sustainability. · Good knowledge of smart city requirements, in respect to masterplan design. · Good knowledge on applying GIS system, in respect to masterplan design. · Good knowledge drafting software using on masterplan design. · Ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams. Collaborate with architects and civil engineers. · High proficiency in English.
