Description
Description Responsibilities: Manage and schedule all intracompany and 3rd party assembly locations, including ensuring supply chain needs are scheduled to meet demand. Responsible for monitoring the supply chain of all assembly supplies needed to meet production scheduled needs (including HGD, PKG, LIV, ACC) for all assembly locations, including 3rd party. Oversight of all supply and delivery of all needed Live goods from any 3rd party contract growing. Communicates with all interested departments (sales, production, supply chain, logistics) when handoff occurs for the execution of all aspects of production assembly. Monitors Net Requirements, HGD inventory, and all other sources of production information for any order changes and adjusts supply chains’ plans accordingly. Creates and publishes master schedule for all production centers based on capacity, materials, and shipping dates Serves as the central key organizer of all functions (sales, supply chain, production, shipping) in order to accommodate weekly production schedules. Participate in meetings weekly to properly plan weekly assembly centers for production. Ensures orders are completed on time and fulfilled to customer expectations Identifies delays, problems, and reports to assembly center operations/production managers the issues and possible solutions If orders cannot be produced according to the planned schedule, makes all necessary communications and adjustments to ensure the orders are completed as soon as possible to meet sales order demand. Manages labor capacity and works with sales/ops team to create an efficient and manageable flow of sales orders/work orders Reviews at risk orders by working with production and sales team Tracks production against production plan/schedule Develops and prepares production reports Other duties as assigned Reports to Director of Supply Chain Requirements BA/BS Planning and Scheduling experience in a manufacturing/assembly setting Understanding of Production and Supply Chain issues and challenges Previous MRP/ERP experience Strong Communication and Excel skill
