Responsibilities

As the Master Scheduler – HVAC Fabrication, you’ll be the central hub for planning and coordinating production and shipping schedules to ensure 99% on-time delivery and an efficient, customer-focused operation. In this role, you will:

  • Develop, manage, and maintain a master production schedule that supports on-time delivery across all HVAC product lines
  • Partner with Sales, Engineering, Purchasing, and Operations to forecast capacity and align with sales projections and strategic plans
  • Identify and resolve supply, demand, and capacity challenges while optimizing labor and equipment usage
  • Implement and maintain visual scheduling systems on the production floor for clarity and accountability
  • Track in-process orders, address delays, and escalate potential risks to leadership promptly
  • Ensure timely closure of work orders and accurate ERP system settings for all parts and BOM data
  • Monitor and report manufacturing variances to leadership and Finance
  • Maintain adequate inventory levels to meet production demand while minimizing waste
  • Level-load production schedules to avoid bottlenecks and maximize efficiency
  • Communicate engineering changes impacting production or shipments to all relevant teams
  • Continuously assess scheduling procedures and ERP functionality, recommending and implementing improvements
  • Support compliance with quality, safety, and process standards in all scheduling activities
