Job Overview As a Master Technician, you will be a senior technical expert, responsible for diagnosing and repairing the most complex vehicle issues, mentoring other technicians, and ensuring the highest standards of quality and service are consistently met. Utilise sophisticated diagnostic equipment and software to analyse vehicle performance and troubleshoot challenging issues. Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and on-the-job training to junior technicians to foster skill development within the team. Conduct thorough quality control checks on all completed work to ensure it meets manufacturer specifications and our company's high standards. Liaise with service advisors to provide clear, detailed explanations of technical issues and recommended repair procedures. Maintain an organised, clean, and safe working environment in the workshop, adhering to all health and safety regulations. Stay current with the latest automotive technologies, industry trends, and manufacturer training modules. Qualifications Proven 5-7 years of experience working as a Master Technician, Diagnostic Technician, or in a similar senior automotive technical role. Expert knowledge of complex automotive systems, including engine management, transmission, drivetrain, and advanced vehicle electronics. Demonstrable proficiency in using advanced diagnostic tools, oscilloscopes, and computer-based repair information systems. Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail. Strong leadership and mentoring capabilities with excellent communication skills. A full, valid driving licence.
