Position: Master Technician
Location: East of England Showground, Peterborough (PE2 6XE)
Work Patterns: Monday-Friday. Day time hours
Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Proven experience as a Master Vehicle Technician or similar is essential
  • Level 4 City and Guilds or other qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair is essential
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Systematic and organised: Pays attention to the finer details.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude.
  • Work to the highest standard and demonstrate a sound up-to-date knowledge of vehicle repair techniques.
  • Good communicative skills and ability to understand and carry out written and verbal instructions.
  • Valid driver’s license (Preferred).
Responsibilities
  • To repair vehicles in line with manufacturers repair instructions
  • To ensure all repairs are documented to meet with company policy and quality standards, all repairs instructions are down loaded from the relevent customer portal
  • Have ownership of vehicle and take responsibility of any repairs undertaken
  • Efficiently diagnose faults and working within set manufacturers repair time
  • Ensure correct clockings and documentation are kept up to date
  • Communicate with other team members, workshop/accounts teams and management team
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Carry QC checks on other team members if required
