Job Description During your thesis you will conduct a comprehensive literature review for different wireless charging standards and power supply architectures with focus on DCDC Buck Converter and elaborate different concepts for wireless charging based on actual Qi Standards. Furthermore, you will develop an architecture for the realization of wireless charging of external devices (smartphone) based on an eBike power supply and illustrate different buck converter topologies with focus on miniaturization based on different technologies (integrated module, GAN-MOSFEts, etc.). In addition, you will realize based on given mechanical design the target concept in a schematic design and PCB layout design. The verification of the realized concepts based on performance measurements will crown your master thesis. The documentation of your work also falls within your area of responsibility. Last but not least, you will work in an agile and diverse research team. Qualifications Education: master studies in the field of mechatronics, electronics or comparable Experience and Knowledge: power electronics, programming skills, experience in laboratory work, knowledge on PCB-design is an advantage Personality and Working Practice: you excel at working independently and driving your own projects forward with strong intrinsic motivation Languages: fluent in written and spoken English Additional Information Start: according to prior agreement Duration: 6 months Requirement for this thesis is the enrollment at university.
