• Design and analysis of system availability metrics for networked systems
• Implementation of strategies to optimize competing system requirements
• Development of innovative approaches to increase the efficiency of energy systems
• Analyzing data to identify patterns of energy usage, identify problems in the grid, and optimize energy distribution
