Scope:
The Mat Warehouse Production Worker is responsible for the handling, sorting, cleaning, processing, and storing of commercial mats in a high-volume warehouse environment. This role supports the efficient movement of mats through the production cycle, from soiled intake to clean products, ensuring quality control, safety, and accuracy in all tasks.
While previous experience operating industrial laundry equipment is an asset, full training will be provided on site.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy mats up to 75 lbs.
  • Prior experience in industrial, mat services, or production environment is as asset.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills preferred.
  • Reliable, detailed-oriented, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
Responsibilities
  • Unload and receive mats from delivery trucks and prepare them for washing.
  • Operate mat washing and drying equipment safely and according to standard procedures.
  • Inspect mats for damage, excessive wear, or quality concerns; report any issues to supervisors.
  • Sort mats by size, type, and customer specifications for processing and delivery.
  • Roll, warp, and stage mats for outbound routes, ensuring the correct size, quantities and labels are placed before loading vehicles.
  • Follow all safety protocols and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
