Kōrero mō te tūranga - About the role  Te Herenga Waka - Victoria University of Wellington is currently recruiting a Mata ahupae - School Administrator to join Te Whānau o Ako Pai - School of Education team on a permanent, full-time basis. Key responsibilities: * Participate in and provide all aspects of administration and front-line support services.  * Provide administration support to School meetings and committee groups, as and when required.  * Provide administrative support for academic courses or programme delivery in a professional, accurate and timely manner to all programme or course stakeholders. * Prepare and administer employment agreements for research assistants and other short-term assistants, ensuring adherence to policies and guidelines for the employment of staff including induction processes. * Undertake transactional-level financial processes alongside the provision of accurate advice, monitoring, and assistance on budgetary matters, including grant administration. Success in this role requires excellent deadline management, self-discipline, and strong teamwork skills. Key requirements: * Proven experience in office administration. * Ability to communicate clearly with strong verbal and written English skills. * Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders. * Technical competence in using Microsoft Office, systems and applications, especially databases, to a high standard of accuracy. * A commitment to working in ways that promote Te Tiriti o Waitangi.
