Description Match Support Specialist BBBS, Trumbull County Part-Time, 29 Hours/Week $16.00/Hour GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES: Responsible for creating and supporting matches in the community and site/school-based programs by providing supervision, follow-up, and conducting match support in caseload. Assists with special events, as program representative. 1. Coordinate with faculty at local schools to implement school-based mentoring programs. 2. Create and support matches between volunteers and children. 3. Plan and facilitate activities. 4. Provide supervision, follow-up, and support for all matches in the caseload. Refer short-term crisis intervention to the Program Manager as needed. 5. Keep accurate and timely case notes on each contact with volunteers, youth, family, and other significant people in each case. 6. Complete volunteer reference checks. 7. Complete volunteer and client reassessments as requested by the Program Manager 8. Under the direction of the Program Manager, plan, coordinate, and supervise monthly group activities for volunteers and youth in the program. 9. Assist as needed in coordinating and/or implementing special events such as training sessions, orientation meetings for volunteers, group supervision sessions, and fundraising events. 10. Complete volunteer and client intake screening. 11. Complete administrative duties as assigned by the Program Manager 12. Share in general office housekeeping to keep the work environment pleasant. 13. Perform all duties in a timely manner. 14. Represent BBBS & FCS in a positive and energetic manner. 15. Comply with agency policies and procedures, COA regulations, federal and state requirements, and educational/certification/registry requirements. 16. Assist in other program services areas as needed. 17. Other duties as assigned. Requirements QUALIFICATIONS: 1. Valid Ohio Driver’s License and ability to meet agency requirements for driving insurability. 2. Must be able to meet agency requirements for criminal background check (Ohio Bureau of Criminal Identification & Investigation). MINIMUM EDUCATIONAL/LICENSURE REQUIREMENTS: Must have at least a Bachelor’s degree. MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: Some experience in social services.
