JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Journalist to take up an important role at Carshalton Athletic Football Club. The ideal candidate will possess a keen eye for detail, a strong sense of ethics, and an unwavering commitment to delivering accurate and compelling match previews, reports and stories. As a Journalist, you will be responsible for researching, writing, and reporting on various topics that engage our audience and uphold the integrity of our Football Club

SKILLS

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a strong command of the English language.
  • Proficiency in research techniques and the ability to analyse complex information.
  • Familiarity with digital journalism tools and content management systems is advantageous.
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards.
  • A solid understanding of ethical journalism practices and media laws.
  • Creative thinking skills to develop unique angles for stories that capture reader interest.
    This role offers an exciting opportunity for those looking to make their mark in the world of sports journalism and would suit graduates and those building experience towards full time sports journalism
    Job Type: Part-time
    Pay: £60.00-£240.00 per week
    Expected hours: 6 – 10 per week
