Job Overview:
We are seeking an Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for demand planning, inventory management, and supplier management. This role involves working closely with various teams to ensure efficient operations and supply chain management.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze demand forecasts and develop effective planning strategies
- Manage inventory levels to meet customer demands while minimizing excess stock
- Negotiate contracts with suppliers to secure favorable terms
- Utilize systems to track inventory, orders, and shipments
- Make decisions on whether to buy products or fabricate them in-house
- Oversee warehouse operations and ensure proper inventory control
- Collaborate with suppliers to maintain strong relationships and resolve any issues
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field (preferred)
- Proven experience in demand planning, inventory management, or related roles
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions
- Knowledge of warehouse operations and inventory control practices
- Experience in supplier management and contract negotiation
- Proficiency in utilizing systems for inventory tracking and analysis
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks efficiently
