As part of this expansion in the US, XNRGY is seeking a qualified and experienced on-site Material and Logistics Manager to join the team. This position will oversee the planning, shipping, receiving, inventory management, and distribution of materials support to production. This role requires coordinating with various departments to ensure timely and accurate movement of materials, maintaining high safety standards, and optimizing warehouse operations.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in supply chain management, year-end physical inventory, inventory control, cycle counting, and warehousing, ensuring that our production lines operate smoothly and efficiently.

Responsibilities
  • Comprehensive Materials Management Strategy: Design and execute a robust materials management plan that guarantees the efficient and timely receipt, handling, and control of materials throughout the entire production process, from initial receipt to the final finished product.

  • Optimized ERP Processes: Develop and implement processes within the ERP (Epicor) to maximize utilization, enhance digital warehouse design, improve inventory control, and streamline reporting capabilities.

  • Strategic Material Planning: Develop and implement comprehensive material requirement plans that align with production schedules and effectively meet customer demands, ensuring optimal resource allocation and timely delivery.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain optimal inventory levels to prevent shortages or excesses, ensuring the timely availability of materials and smooth production flow.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure all materials meet required specifications and quality standards, maintaining high levels of product integrity.
  • Logistics Coordination: Oversee the storage, handling, and distribution of materials, ensuring timely and accurate delivery to production lines.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of supervisors, planners, material handlers and warehouse staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.
  • Build a High-Performance Team: Cultivate a high-performance team by recruiting top talent, fostering a collaborative and inclusive culture, providing continuous training and development opportunities, and setting clear, ambitious goals to drive excellence and innovation.
  • Comprehensive Reporting: Prepare and present regular, detailed reports on material status, inventory levels, and cycle count accuracy to senior management.
  • Key Performance Indicators: Develop and drive KPIs such as total inventory value, cycle count accuracy, inventory turns, and inventory adjustments to measure and improve performance.
  • Safety Compliance: Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies, conducting regular safety inspections and training to maintain a safe working environment.
