Description

The Material Area Supervisor Windsor Assembly Plant will be responsible for managing and directing multiple work teams in a fast paced, high volume unionized manufacturing facility.
In this position, you will be responsible for coordinating daily activities to achieve business metrics, ensuring parts are sequenced and delivered within plant footprint area of responsibility, and implementing SPW and lean manufacturing tools and processes as it relates to material flow.
Responsibilities of the Material Area Supervisor Windsor Assembly Plant will include creating and developing highly functioning teams, making tough calls, and acting quickly and decisively while holding themselves and others accountable.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS :

Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent demonstrated work experience
Ability to work any shift and overtime as required
Excellent organization, written and oral communication skills
Excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to coach, mentor, and develop team members
Must be legally eligible to work in Canada

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS :

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Packaging Engineering, Industrial Engineering or Business a plus
Minimum THREE (3) years’ experience
Previous manufacturing and supervisory experience
Previous experience working in a union environment
Strong background in LEAN manufacturing and/or Stellantis Production Way methods and practices
Proficient in Microsoft Office software applications
