Your tasks

  • They assume responsibility for the material compliance of our products and ensure adherence to relevant legal and regulatory requirements (including REACH, RoHS, TSCA, PFAS and food contact materials).
  • Risk assessments according to IEC 63000 allow you to evaluate components and materials and derive appropriate measures.
  • They review, manage, and document test results, certificates, and supplier declarations, and create or evaluate standard and customer-specific declarations, including inquiries regarding conflict minerals.
  • You will organize, coordinate, and evaluate material tests together with internal and external partners.
  • You will actively support environmental, certification and sustainability issues, as well as relevant projects and their associated documentation.
  • As a competent contact person, you will advise related departments, especially purchasing and product development, and work closely with external service providers, laboratories and consultants in an international environment.
  • Your responsibilities include the further development of processes, the establishment and maintenance of a sustainable compliance and documentation structure, and close collaboration within the Material Compliance Team.

Your profile

  • You have completed technical or scientific training or a corresponding degree, or possess comparable practical experience in the field of Chemical & Material Compliance, Chemistry or Materials Science.
  • Several years of professional experience in the field of Regulatory Affairs or Material Compliance form the basis for your successful entry.
  • Sound knowledge in the fields of plastics, metals and electronics enables you to reliably assess materials and components.
  • You are familiar with relevant legal and regulatory requirements such as REACH, RoHS or TSCA and apply them confidently.
  • Working with databases, portals, ERP and documentation systems is part of your daily professional routine.
  • With a structured, independent and solution-oriented work style, as well as strong communication and teamwork skills, you will work successfully with different departments.
  • A strong sense of responsibility, a pronounced understanding of quality and compliance, as well as good German and English skills complete your profile.
