Your responsibilities will include: Deliver objectives related to Cost, Quality, Safety, Efficiency, Absenteeism. Safety First: Act as a champion of workplace safety, proactively enforcing regulations and fostering a culture of vigilance Driving Operational Excellence: Lead and direct a team of employees across various warehouse functions, including Receiving, Packaging, Replenishment, Picking, and Shipping, ensuring the team consistently ships high-quality products and meets or exceeds production targets. You will take ownership of team performance, addressing shortcomings proactively and celebrating successes. Strategic Focus & Problem Solving: Prioritize critical tasks and effectively allocate human resources to maximize efficiency. You will apply for a "Bias for Action," promptly and decisively addressing safety and quality issues to prevent larger problems. This includes identifying and analyzing problems, developing and implementing effective solutions, making timely and well-informed decisions, and adapting to changing circumstances. Team Leadership & Development: Embrace a servant leadership style, focusing on building high performance, winning teams and investing in their growth. You will foster a positive and collaborative work environment, motivating your team to achieve shared goals. Data-Driven Decision Making: Utilize data and insights to slash downtime and quality defects, driving quantifiable improvements in efficiency and quality. Established and active employee resource groups This is an onsite position that will require shift flexibility including the ability to work all hours, including nights, weekends and holidays. This position will rotate through the Memphis Complex (between HCC, HVC and LVLC. There is no hybrid option for this position. Ability to work rotating shifts / hours, including nights, weekends, and some holidays. High School Diploma or GED. Bachelor's degree preferred. Valid State Driver's License Exceptional organizational skills and ability to ensure accountability from all employees. 5+ years of experience in supervisory roles, manufacturing, military or other relevant experience. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Must have demonstrated ability to lead and motivate employees (Hourly & Salaried) Working knowledge of Windows programs (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access etc.) Knowledge of or ability to quickly learn current systems (SAP/EWM) Ability to interpret data, evaluate actions, and reach logical conclusions independently. Goal oriented and continuous Improvement mindset with a focus on quality and reduced costs. Bachelor's Degree preferred. Minimum 5 years operational/distribution experience preferred. Minimum 3 years working with the UAW/Teamster workforce and contract Experience with Lean / Six Sigma methodology and / or Military Decision-Making Process (MDMP) Experience
