Description
The primary role of a Material Control Supervisor is to oversee the day-to-day operation of a Parts Distribution Center. Lead a represented team responsible for Receiving, Packaging, Replenishment, Picking, and Shipping. Deliver objectives related to Cost, Quality, Safety, Efficiency, Absenteeism. Engage with key stakeholders including suppliers to deliver key objectives. Maintain a positive working relationship with all stakeholders, including fair and consistent administration of the Collective Bargaining Agreement. Established and active employee resource groups High School Diploma or GED. Minimum 3 year leadership experience. Minimum 3 year work experience in similar positions. Willing and able to work weekends, holidays, and afternoon shifts with varying hours. Must be flexible with shift times, and willing and able to work overtime. Must be willing and able to work onsite full-time, 5-days a week in the Winchester, VA (Washington, D.C.) High Velocity Center. Demonstrated ability to actively listen, collaborate and problem solve with stakeholders. Ability to maintain a high level of professionalism in difficult and stressful situations. Demonstrated exceptional oral and written communication skills. Working Knowledge of Microsoft: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
