Responsibilities

YOUR FUTURE ROLE

We have an opportunity available for an experienced Supply Chain professional to join us as our Material Controller. You will be responsible for the leading the Material/Inventory Controlling activities for one of our most critical operations in Australia, based in Wulkuraka QLD.

We’ll look to you for:

  • Ensuring timely and accurate provisioning of inventory/spares (raw materials, BDS or consumables) to support internal operations and meet customers contract requirements.
  • Providing contemporary inventory management services for operational and production activities, inclusive of purchasing, invoicing and the optimisation of stock levels through forecasting models.
  • Maintaining assigned inventory stocks across ERP systems in a cost effective, timely and efficient manner.
  • Monitoring the technical aspects of inventory related activities, ensuring compliance with contractual, company, and regulatory requirements.
  • Delivering timely and meaningful reporting and analysis to the Supply Chain Manager and Material Planning team for use in monthly reports.
  • Ensuring inventory holdings are sufficient to meet scheduled outcomes, whilst ensuring reduction of total material costs and disposal of obsolete or excessive stock.

We value passion and attitude over experience. That’s why we don’t expect you to have every single skill. Instead, we’ve listed some that we think will help you succeed and grow in this role:

  • The ability to thrive within a face-paced, dynamic environment and manage competing priorities.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and management skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
  • Significant experience in a similar role, ideally managing spare parts.
  • IT savvy and experience using an ERP (SAP preferred)
  • Experience in modern Stocktake Management techniques and leading stocktakes.
  • Strong analytic skills with experience in providing effective reporting
