Key Tasks & Responsibilities (Essential Functions) Communicate schedules, sequences, and assignments for work activities, based on work priority, quantity of equipment and skill of personnel. Patrol and monitor work areas and examine tools and equipment in order to detect unsafe conditions or violations of procedures or safety rules. Notifies management of deficiencies. Assign employees to tasks based upon skills, knowledge, abilities and training. Trains employees on tasks, procedures and equipment. Examine objects, systems, or facilities; and analyze information and inform management of needed installations, services, or repairs. Provide feedback to employees on work-related issues and assist employees to correct job-skill deficiencies. This excludes assessing job performance, which is a management responsibility Requisition materials and supplies, such as tools, equipment, and replacement parts. Must be approved by management. Interpret specifications, blueprints, and job orders in order to construct templates and layout reference points for workers. Staging material for employees to assure flow. Stepping in and assisting as needed. Instruct employees on processes. Ensure employees have tools and materials to perform job functions. Responsible for Visual Management of area (HR by HR, +QDIP, SW docs, KB, Schedule, etc.) Accurately maintain necessary records. Education (minimum education required) High School Diploma Equivalency/ GEDSkills and Minimum Experience Required Mechanical - Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance. Customer Service - Knowledge of principles and processes for providing high quality service to internal customers and personal services. English Language - Knowledge of the structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar. Safety and Security - Knowledge of relevant equipment, policies and procedures to promote the safety and security of employees, data and property.
