ROLE OF DELIVERY ASSISTANT/SWAMPER

You’ll be working alongside a driver and another assistant every day. You and your fellow swamper will work in tandem with a forklift to load the truck according to the driver’s efficient loading plan. You’ll carefully follow the plan because your pay will be based partly on how much you can deliver; a heavier truck means a heavier paycheque. Punctuality is very important to start your day.
Tasks and results for this position include:
· A team player – you work well with a crew and bring a positive attitude.
· Proactive – you look for ways to pitch in and respond when you see a need.
· Driven – you want to succeed at this job because you can build a career here.
· Punctual – great attendance and on time.
We’ve been fortunate to hire some great people, and they’ve fueled the growth that has us hiring again. We hope you’ll be the next person to join the PacWest team.
