As a Material Engineer, you will be tasked to develop project planning and to execute material testing, feasibility study, qualification process for alternate sources and material.

In this role, a typical day will include:

• Develop project planning to execute material testing, feasibility study, qualification process for alternate sources and material.
• Involve in supplier capability assessment and supplier readiness to supply component and or material.
• Generate protocols and reports for: feasibility study/engineering study and material qualification.
• Coordinate the protocol execution.
• Communication with Alcon stakeholders and supplier for pre-work, execution and post execution of projects.
• Uphold and compliance to HSE, GMP/Quality, Data Integrity and Company policy.
