Description JOB SUMMARY: Work in Warehouse department to obtain customer, production, quality, and safety goals in accordance with overall plant goals. Position allows for increased pay based on level of knowledge. ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES: Safety: Ensure a safe and accident-free environment. Knowledge of Forklift rules, lifting requirements, and company rules. Reports any accidents or near misses through Incident Reporting sheet. Provides input in Root Cause Analysis in alignment with Incident Reporting Process. Support: As needed, perform duties of anyone in the Warehouse team. Stock all assembly lines and respond to the material requests from the shop. Pull daily shippers for small parts, create shipping labels, and deliver to shipping department. Pull pack (P.K.) kits for delivery to the shipping department. Understand manufacturing job routings, bill of materials (BOM,), and job pick lists. Build kits, print picklists, shortage sheets, and pack palletized parts for shipment. Maintain consolidation of parts in warehouse and on production line. Put away incoming material from return baskets or the receiving dock. Maintain the shortage list and fill shortages as material is received. Standard Work: Carries out standard processes. Understands and helps maintain Quality standards, in accordance with ISO: 9001. This includes Material Documentation, Job Orders, Work center 5S. Turns in kanban cards when inventories are low. Continuous Improvement: Help with project implementations, including representing the Warehouse Team in meetings. Requirements Ausco is willing to provide training to a strong candidate to meet all requirements. · Must comply with all safety rules and regulations around fast-moving equipment. · Able to work effectively as part of a team and participate in meetings. · Must successfully complete any training necessary to perform tasks. · Must comply with established work rules and applicable Ausco Products, LLC policies. · Able to work overtime when needed, including the weekend. · Must have good math, reading, writing, record keeping, calculator, and computer skills. · Must have strong oral and written communication skills and the ability to use them with internal and external sources, accurately prepare paperwork, and be flexible and able to multitask. · Follow written and verbal instructions and maintain good housekeeping with minimal supervision. · Ensure flow between teams, communicating relevant information about activities and potential issues to meet specific goals of each area. · Maintain professional conduct, treating others with respect, and relaying requests as needed. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS OF JOB: · Must be able to remain in a stationary position for periods of time with occasional position changes. · Work requires remaining stationary, typing, working with a monitor, writing, lifting, stooping, moving about the office, and positioning self to reach or file. · Work in manufacturing areas near moving mechanical parts and exposed to airborne particles. · Must be able to climb on/off a forklift throughout the day. · Able to lift 45 pounds. DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS OF JOB: · Previous experience in a Manufacturing and Warehouse environment. · Valid lift truck license, or ability to receive. · Experience working within quality systems.
